This song was recorded entirely on an iPhone 5. I played my little pawn shop guitar–just bought that night, no strap, held tight to my chest with the phone set on the body–as I walked from my cousin's college campus in Hachioji, Tokyo toward my salary man hotel. The sounds of cars and bikes whizzing by is in real time as I walked along the street. The overlayed sounds are that of people talking and the train announcement in Tokyo station, about a 40 minute train ride from Hachioji station. The song I'm playing is "There Will Never Be Another You", a favorite jazz standard with a very appropriate title.
